Horta Museum adult ticket
Timed entry to Victor Horta's house and studio for visitors aged 18 and over, on the date and quarter-hour you choose.
The adult ticket admits one visitor aged 18 or over to the Horta Museum on one date, at one quarter-hour entry time. You go round Victor Horta's house and studio on your own, with a printed room guide, in a slot that the museum caps at fifteen people.
What the adult ticket covers
Entry to the house at No. 25, built by Horta for himself and his family by 1901: the hall and parlour, the reception rooms of the bel étage round the stairwell and its glass skylight, and the family floors above.
Entry to the studio at No. 23, with Horta's office, the smoking room where he met clients, the draughtsmen's floor and the basement workshop, now home to displays on his work and the restoration.
On the day
Go to the museum's entrance at 27 rue Américaine at the time on your ticket. Show the e-ticket at the desk, then leave your phone, bag and coat in a free locker: nothing else goes into the historic rooms.
Allow about 1 hour 15 minutes. The route covers 375 steps over three flights, and photography is not allowed inside.
Who it is not for
Anyone who cannot manage steep, narrow stairs: the house and studio are not wheelchair accessible. Groups of seven or more people: the museum requires them to book a guided visit, so our bookings stop at six.
